BYU Honor Code and Brandon Davies – No Booze, No Sex, No Life!
Star BYU basketball player, Brandon Davies, kicked off team for honor Code violation. The Honor Code doesn’t allow students to drink coffee or alcohol, forbids swearing and also prohibits premarital sex.

Here’s something to think about.
I am a female BYU student and I haven’t been feeling very well lately.
I decided to visit a doctor off campus just in case the Campus doctor found out I wasn’t a virgin. After two visits and exhaustive Lab tests, he said I was doing “fairly well” for a BYU student!
A little concerned about that comment, I couldn’t resist asking him, “Do you think I’ll be able to have a happy, healthy life and live to be 80?”
He asked, “Do you drink coffee, smoke tobacco, or drink beer or wine?”
“Oh no,” I replied. “I’m not doing drugs, either!”
Then he asked, “Do you eat rib-eye steaks and barbecued ribs?”
I said, “No, my former doctor said that all red meat is very unhealthy!”
“Do you spend a lot of time in the sun, like playing golf, sailing, hiking, or bicycling?”
“No, I don’t,” I said.
He asked, “Do you gamble, drive fast cars, or have any sex?”
“No,” I said.
He looked at me and said,” Then, why do you even give a crap?”
Interesting to note that the following famous people would not be allowed to attend BYU:
Brigham Young -Founder of the University
“Brandon Davies is the only BYU student scoring tonight,” someone tweeted as the Cougars were getting hammered by New Mexico in Provo.
Danica Mendivil

“How the heck did Jim McMahon make it through a day in Provo?” asked another.
“Brandon Davies misread the BYU honor code; he thought “score at will” didn’t just mean on the basketball court,” someone chimed in.
Brigham Young, run by the Church of Latter-Day Saints, Honor Code Statement
We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men. . . . If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things (Thirteenth Article of Faith).
As a matter of personal commitment, faculty, administration, staff, and students of Brigham Young University, Brigham Young University—Hawaii, Brigham Young University—Idaho, and LDS Business College seek to demonstrate in daily living on and off campus those moral virtues encompassed in the gospel of Jesus Christ, and will
Be honest
Live a chaste and virtuous life
Obey the law and all campus policies
Use clean language
Respect others
Abstain from alcoholic beverages, tobacco, tea, coffee, and substance abuse
Participate regularly in church services
Observe the Dress and Grooming Standards
Encourage others in their commitment to comply with the Honor Code
What about women???? We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all . . . .men
Forget the rest of the code… NO coffee and tea —REALLY!
Good luck finding anyone who is so perfect!
A recent poll conducted at BYU showed that only 10 of the 32 000 students actually follow most of the rules in the Code of Conduct Statement.
(source unknown, but like Fox news, I can say anything and most people will believe it!)
Note: FOX news has never hired anyone who attended BYU. The BYU code of Conduct includes a statement about being HONEST!

Stop for a moment and think if every school had those standers. What kind of youth you all would
be. It’s not about being perfect it’s about working hard to be as perfect as we can be. No one school would have suspended the young man, but BYU because in that school the young students
well being is the must important then anything else. I know BYU is a better school today because what they did was prove their commitment
to their students and their future happiness.
